New Chemical Anchor

Jun 26, 2009

CAPITAL Safety’s DBI-SALA brand has released a concrete detent anchor for connecting shock absorbing lanyards and self-retracting lifelines.
According to Capital Safety, the DBI-SALA corrosion-resistant stainless steel concrete detent anchor is simple and fast to connect and disconnect, with the push of a button.
The concrete detent anchor consists of a socket which is permanently installed in concrete, and a removable detent pin with attached connection ring that is placed into the socket to form a secure, fall-arrest-rated 22kN anchor point.
The sockets can be set into various parts of the concrete floor, wall or ceiling to provide a variety of anchor points. The detent pin can be moved from socket to socket for increased flexibility and productivity.
Capital Safety says the concrete detent anchor can be used during construction and also for ongoing maintenance and inspection. Two anchors can be used as the endpoints for a horizontal lifeline system.
